About Me
Following my training as a state-certified nurse, I studied Biology at the University of Würzburg, followed by my master's degree in Bioinformatics at the University of Tübingen. My Master Thesis focused on designing and implementing a database, which stores gene expression data linked to richly described metadata—always keeping FAIR principles in mind.
Having seen the impact that research can have on patients, I want to help break down boundaries that prevent researchers from using existing data. Within GHGA, I am working on the conceptual requirements to meet the best practices of FAIR Omics data (Task Area B2).
