I studied Computer Science and Bioinformatics with a focus on statistics and proteomics at the University of Crete in Greece. After my masters, I moved to Germany where I started working for the Chair of Computational Molecular Medicine as a Scientific Programmer where my focus was on mRNA degradation and functional annotation of lncRNAs.
Within GHGA, I work as bioinformatician, building and standardizing workflows for the harmonized usage of RNA-seq data.
