I studied Biosciences and Molecular Medicine in Germany, before obtaining a PhD in Molecular Biology in the US, where I worked on transcriptomics studies. During studies, I gradually drifted into the field of Bioinformatics where I learned to manage and analyse big genomic datasets.
As a data manager/ data scientist within the GHGA-team, I will be responsible for ensuring a positive user experience with the data archive by providing workflows and teaching materials.
