About Me
I studied Bioinformatics at the University of Tübingen, where I completed both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Working with large datasets during my studies sparked my interest in efficient data handling and encouraged me to build expertise in database design and query optimization. I then worked as a Data Scientist and Software Developer in the automotive industry, gaining hands-on experience with professional software engineering practices.
At GHGA, I can use my experience to help make omics data more accessible to researchers while ensuring it is handled responsibly.
