Assured. A new approach to Professional Data Training for Safe Research.

In this event, we will present Assured, a proposed modular training program for secure data use in a research context. Assured is flexible, allowing Research Data Centres and learners to combine different modules to fit their needs and create the learning pathways they require to achieve the safe use of research data.

In addition to training, Assured will also incorporate an accreditation for safe data professionals linked to an Authentication and Authorisation Infrastructure (AAI). This will enable those trained using Assured to take evidence of their status to other services and have their accreditation recognised.

The purpose of this talk is to introduce this proposal to the research community. We would welcome the opportunity to open a discussion with an interested audience to understand how our proposal can meet their needs and to open up the project to potential collaborators.

GHGA is hosting this event as part of the Assured project in collaboration with GESIS- Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences and Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. These collaborators are part of the NFDI through GHGA, KonsortSWD and BERD@NFDI respectively.
