Angela Abicht and Christian Gebhard from the Medical Genetics Center Munich (MGZ) talked about „FindMe2Care (RxOME) - a medical contact platform for patients with rare diseases" at the GHGA lecture series ("Advances in Data-Driven Biomedicine") on December 13, 2023.
Abstract:
FindMe2Care is a medical contact platform. Patients register independently by means of a personal QR code contained in their genetic laboratory findings. The QR code contains machine-readable data on the patient's genetic variant and symptoms. By registering this data, patients can receive information tailored to their individual rare disease and be made aware of patient registries, clinical trials or scientific research projects that are looking for patients with their disease. In addition, patients with the same rare genetic disease can find each other for mutual contact.
