GHGA Workshop on NGS Workflow Harmonization at the German Conference for Bioinformatics 2024

GHGA Workshop on NGS Workflow Harmonization at the German Conference for Bioinformatics in Bielefeld in September 2024

We are excited to announce that GHGA will be presenting a tutorial on NGS Workflow Harmonization at the upcoming German Conference for Bioinformatics on September 30, 2024

Join us to learn about the importance of workflow standardization and harmonization, and how it can improve the reproducibility and comparability of NGS data analysis results.

Through this tutorial, you will gain a deeper understanding of the FAIR principles and their relevance for workflow standardization and harmonization. You will also learn about the adaptability, portability, and scalability of workflows within nf-core, a community-driven platform for NGS data analysis workflows.

Additionally, you will discover the benefits of automating robust workflows to ensure reproducibility and the highest quality of code. More information on the workshop, including software requirements and a preliminary schedule, can be found in the Github repository for the workshop. This information will be updated closer to the workshop date.

This tutorial will provide hands-on examples to give attendees practical experience with NGS workflow harmonization. Whether you're a bioinformatician, computational biologist, or researcher interested in NGS workflows, this tutorial is for you. No prior experience is required.

The tutorial will be presented by experts from the GHGA workflow and training teams. The event will be in English and will include an extensive Q&A session. Visit www.gcb2024.de for registration and more information. We look forward to seeing you there!
