GHGA Data Portal: Latest Updates Now Live (July 2025)

​​The GHGA Data Portal continues to evolve with new features designed to make accessing and working with human genome data easier. Our latest release introduces the ability to download metadata directly from the portal alongside further improvements to system performance.

Key features included are:

  • Downloadable Metadata. Users can now download metadata directly from the GHGA Data Portal to support data discovery and reuse.
  • Access Request Management Improvements. By improving tooling surrounding Access Request Management, we aim to improve response times and make the process more efficient and effective for the GHGA data stewards.
  • Various UI fixes enhancing reliability and usability, including improved browser caching, clearer ordering of file types in global statistics, and a streamlined IVA verification process.

We remain focused on providing practical, secure, and user-friendly tools for accessing genomic data.
