The de.NBI & ELIXIR-DE and GHGA Knowledge Series: GHGA Workflows and Data Services for Rare Disease Research
- 02 Dec 2026
GHGA is developing and benchmarking tools for the rare disease community with the goal of driving genomic medicine discovery through scalable and reproducible bioinformatics workflows.
In this webinar we highlight two of these solutions that we have brought from early research ideas, through to production-level analysis tools; the Detection of RNA Outliers Pipeline (DROP) and Spotlight. Each tackles distinct challenges in rare disease research by analysing and interpreting different sequencing data modalities. We highlight core concepts, success stories, and practical information for their use.
This webinar is aimed at students, early career researchers, clinicians, bioinformaticians and everyone interested in rare disease research, RNA outlier analysis, and scalable genomic workflows.
The webinar will be held by GHGA workflow experts Drew Behrens and Ata Jadid Ahari from the Technical University of Munich.
The event is in English, it takes approx. 60 minutes and will be held on the 2nd December 2026 at 13:00 CET (available afterwards on demand). Attendance is free, but we ask for registration.
